Rules
HOW TO
ENTER:
For a chance to win one (1)
computer, you must submit your entry
by 11:59 p. m. ET on August 31, 2009. The winner will be
decided by the number of valid entries sent in. DLG Systems
Consulting retains the right to verify the validity of the
entries by being able to contact the referrals that the
entrant has provided. DLG Systems Consulting also maintains the
right to decide on the extent of validity of the entry.
The winner will be
notified via e-mail, phone call and their
contact information will be published in the Contest webpage.
If you are selected and meet the eligibility requirements set
forth herein, you will be responsible for picking up the prize
within a 2 week period of being advised of your
win.
HOW TO
PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST:
Referrals. You are automatically entered into
the "Win A Free Refurbished Computer Contest" each
time you provide to DLG Systems Consulting a
referral and DLG Systems
Consulting verifies the referral e-mail address
to be valid and different from your own. For each e-mail
address referred and signed up, you will be entered into the
"Win A Free Refurbished Computer Contest"
again.
Referrals'
Referral. You are
automatically entered into the "Win A Free Refurbished Computer
Contest" each time the Referrals you have provided refer
an additional email address, and the owner of that email
address signs up for the contest, and DLG Systems Consulting
verifies such e-mail address to be valid and different from
your own. For each e-mail address referred and signed up by
your Referrals' Referral, you will be entered into the "Win A
Free Refurbished Computer Contest" again. There is no
limit to how many levels down your Referrals can extend, as
long as they are all valid Referrals and are signed up for the
contest.
By
mail. Mailed
entries are not permitted. Mechanically reproduced entries are
not permitted. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and
if left at our office will not be entered in the "Win A Free
Refurbished Computer Contest".
ELIGIBILITY:
No purchase necessary. Entrants must be
eighteen (18) years of age or older and be a legal
resident of Ontario. Giveaway is not open to any
individual if they reside outside of the Province of
Ontario. The Sponsor reserves the right to require proof
of eligibility and to conduct a background check on
entrants, if applicable.
All legal
Ontario residents residing in the Toronto/GTA who
are 18 years or older at the closing date of the "Win A
Free Refurbished Computer Contest" may participate in
this Contest, or if you are under 18 years of age, you
must have parental/guardian consent to enter the contest.
By entering this "Win A Free Refurbished Computer
Contest" you represent to DLG Systems
Consulting that you are either at least 18 years of
age or have consent from a parent/guardian. By
registering to win the prize, the winner grants DLG
Systems Consulting permission to use his/her name
(including screen name) and likeness for advertising and
future promotion purposes without additional compensation
(except where prohibited by law).
Entries that are
incomplete, illegible, fraudulent or corrupted are void
and will not be accepted.
PRIVACY:
By entering, each entrant agrees to this
Web site's Terms
of Use and Privacy Policy and the rules stated
herein.
WINNERS/PRIZE:
Unless indicated otherwise on the Web Site,
one (1) Prize will be awarded for each Giveaway. Approximate
retail value ("ARV") of the Prize will vary by Giveaway, but in
no event shall such Prize be valued equal to or more than five
hundred Canadian Dollars. All prizes are non-transferable.
Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its
discretion. Sponsor may require winner(s) to sign an affidavit
of eligibility and liability/publicity release (as more fully
discussed below). All expenses not specified herein, including,
without limitation, all federal, state and local taxes, if
applicable, are each winner’s sole
responsibility.
Any winner who
does not comply with the Official Rules will be
disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.
Return of any prize or prize notification as
"undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an
alternate winner will be selected.

DISCLAIMER/OTHER
REQUIREMENTS:
All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree
to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of
Sponsor. Winners may be required to sign, have notarized and
return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity
release within five (5) days of receipt of such document(s) or
Prize will be forfeited. All Prize claims and winner materials
will be verified by Giveaway judge(s). If this Giveaway is not
capable of running as planned, including, because of any
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failure or other cause beyond
Sponsor’s control which corrupts or threatens to corrupt or
adversely affects the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves
the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend and/or
modify this Giveaway and Sponsor can perform the random drawing
from among all eligible entries received prior to such
cancellation, suspension or modification of the
Giveaway. Prizes are non-transferable and no
substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by DLG
Systems Consulting, who also reserves the right to award a
prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is
unavailable.
DLG Systems
Consulting is not responsible for errors, omissions,
interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole,
delays in operations or transmission, theft or
destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of
entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical
network, telephonic, electronic, computer, hardware or
software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate or
partial transmission of or failure to receive entry
information by DLG Systems Consulting on account of
technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet,
at any web site or any combination thereof. DLG Systems
Consulting is not responsible for any injury or
damage to entrant's or any other person's computer
related to or resulting from playing or downloading any
materials in the "Win A Free Refurbished Computer Contest
or for mail-in entries. All entries become DLG Systems
Consulting' s property and will not be returned. DLG
Systems Consulting reserves the right to
cancel temporarily or permanently the electronic method
of "Win A Free Refurbished Computer
Contest entries if it becomes technically
corrupted.
All of your
entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of
DLG Systems Consulting, if you attempt (i) to enter
the "Win A Free Refurbished Computer
Contest" through any means other than as described
in these Official Rules; or (ii) to disrupt the "Win A
Free Refurbished Computer Contest", circumvent the terms
and conditions of these Official Rules, or in any way
tamper with the "Win A Free Refurbished Computer
Contest". If either of the above occurs, DLG Systems
Consulting has the right to remedy any such action,
disruption, or circumvention, and to seek damages from
you to the fullest extent permitted by
law.
LIMITATION ON
LIABILITY
Winner, by
acceptance of any Prize, agrees to release DLG Systems
Consulting, from any and all liability, claims or actions
of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to
persons and property which may be sustained in connection
with the receipt, ownership or use of any Prize or while
traveling to and from a location to obtain or use any
Prize. The Sponsor does not make any warranty,
representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact
or in law, relative to the use of any Prize including,
without limitation, quality, merchantability, or fitness
for a particular purpose. Neither Sponsor nor the Sponsor
Affiliates are responsible for technical, hardware,
software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or
unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect,
incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic
communications caused by Sponsor or the Sponsor
Affiliates, the user or by any of the equipment or
programming associated with or utilized in this Giveaway
or by any human error which may occur in the processing
of the entries in this Giveaway and which may limit a
participant's ability to participate in this Giveaway.
Sponsor can modify these official rules in any way or at
any time, as long as Sponsor gives reasonable
notice.
The Giveaway
shall be governed by, construed and enforced in
accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Submission of an entry is acknowledgment of and agreement
to be bound by all terms and conditions of these official
rules. In the event of a dispute concerning who submitted
an e-mail entry, the entry will be declared to have been
made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail
address submitted at time of entry. An authorized account
holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned
to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider,
online service provider, or other organization (e.g.
business, educational institution, etc.) that is
responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain
associated with the submitted e-mail
address.
This
"Win A Free Computer Contest" is subject
to these complete and Official Rules
THIS
GIVEAWAY IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY
LAW.
